Did the 00 not have a post at all? Since the mats were an option?

My '00 has 1 but I can't remember if I put it there or the previous owner did or if it came w/ one.

2 posts were in the floor on the driver's side starting in '02, that is a fact.

The guy above who claimed his '03 only had one - well that's just weird because starting in '02 the carpet had 2 hold down posts.
that is weird. my 03 had a cut in the carpet where a 2nd post should be, but it didn't have one. it only had one on the right side.

Yup, OEM which I have NEVER used and are in my attic, and a set of 3 piece MUZ mats with the S2000 logo on them that I use all the time.

I added a grommet to the MUZ mats, it works but I'd like to add a second now.

THAT is weird, cause the '00-'01s had the post of the left side of the mat as seen here.

How easy is it to install said anchor? My '00 has none and it drives me crazy to readjust the floormat every 20 minutes.

Very easy if it's the same as how I installed it on my Civic (I'm guess it's the same).
- There were two parallel slits in the carpet. Instructions showed to create one additional cut across to create a flap.
- There is already a hole in the crossmember (under the seat on the Civic as the anchors appear to be very similar if not the identical part). Simply insert the supplied grommet (came with the anchor), place the anchor, and put in the screw.

The hole should already exist for the left anchor, I'm not sure if there would already be a hole for the right anchor on an '00 or '01.
