I need to see another Spa before I comment on it but my friends Rio is sexy. I have never cared for yellow cars but the s2k is beautiful in all colors. But silverstone is still the fastest and easiest to keep clean!

Reason Silverstone always looks clean? It's not because of the color, that is just a myth about silvers. It is because our Silverstone cars add so much more hp that all dirt just blows off at WOT

Rio pwns Spa in person. In photos it's hard to tell which yellow is which unless they're side by side.

(stolen from the other RIO thread... thx)

Note the SPA in the foreground (nearest to camera) and the RIO in the back.

Rio has a bunch of pearl and metallic flake in it, it's quite a beautiful color to behold in the sun- it subtly shows off the S2k's curves rather well. Not quite as well as Suzuka maybe, but still pretty good .
exactly what i was looking for. thanks!

The difference is that spa looks better . Rio yellow replaced Spa on AP2 models and it is a darker yellow in person, not so bright as spa yellow is. I personally prefer spa, but that's just my personal preference.

Pictures like above don't do Spa justice...
Go look at the Spa/Rio color thread...

how can you not agree with this ?
There is no way anyone who truly searches their feelings can disagree. Resistance is futile!

But the reason your cars get dirty in the first place is because of all the Suzuka owners that are already out of view

Taken from a non-s2k owner, Spa looks better in person than it does in pictures. At first, I didn't like yellow s2000s because I saw a few 04+ before seeing 01-03 up close.

spa for the win!

My neighbor has a spa and people agree my rio is a much better color.

Pearl and flake only noticeable in direct sunlight, barely noticeable otherwise.
