It occurred at the local dealership the repair shop sent it out to to work out the electrical gremlins plaguing the final steps of the rebuild. I didn't have any contact with them, but I know the guy at my repair shop laid into them about it. He was overly contrite about something totally out of his control and pledged to restore it whenever I'm ready to take her back in. Theres a few other loose ends to tie up (small gap in the dash on the right side of the instrument cluster, the left turn signal light is loose, and it looks like they forgot to remove the plastic protective wrap around the indicator lights on the instrument cluster LCD), but overall thrilled with how good the interior & new soft top look.

If I had known what an ordeal the rebuild would have been, I would have pushed for them to have just totaled it. But now that I've made it through the wilderness, I couldn't be happier to have her back with the inside looking almost as if she just rolled off the factory floor!

No, I do not have a personal garage at the moment. For the next few months I'm stuck parking in the same garage, although I now have a personal parking spot in there that's visible from the sidewalk, so hopefully that added visibility will be a slight deterrent. I plan on upgrading the security system to one that will alert my phone when it goes off. Will most definitely be ordering seat locks and accompanying decals (thanks for the heads up, did not realize they took that long). Any other suggestions?
Your best bet is to lower your insurance deductible to $50 for the future. Get a autolock. Stop blaming yourself if your car gets stolen. Thieves will get your car if they really want it. End of story. Very slim chance the cops will bring it back in one piece in most cases. A stripped shell is what I got back. Then the fun begins with arguing with the insurance company on what your car was worth. In your case you got your car back. I suppose you can install a kill switch, web cam monitoring your garage and a auto spotlight to shine the driveway really bright. I changed my porchlight to floodlights for the same reason. They are hella bright whenever someone walks onto the property line. Stick big signs on the garage door as a deterrent saying that they are being filmed (I didn't do this but I met this guy who did and all the stickers were enough to make me think twice about entering his property).
