Texas Motor Event's Tribute to the S2000 CR
Big HELLO to all from the Texas Motor Events Crew,
2011 will mark the beginning of some huge expansions at our website. While we will continue to bring you coverage of the latest news and events, we will also lauch a new bi-monthly podcast series, as well as releasing our own fresh articles and films.
As the editor at TME and an S2000 fanatic/owner, it was my pleasure to launch the new year right with the latest and greatest from Honda Motor Co.: A look back at Uehara San's last project, the limited S2000 Club Racer Edition
Please stop by and review our January feature article, as well as the delicious photo gallery we shot for y'all (Video to follow later today)
Oh, and please let me know what y'all think!
Cheers, Nico

Nice article & photos
Not sure but wasn't the 123.5 record held by the F20? I don't think the F22 improved on this number, but I don't have the hp numbers in front of me.
Anyways, good stuff.
The new CR would continue to use the S2000’s high revving F22 motor, famous for producing the world’s highest specific power output (at 123.5 hp/liter), a record which stood until the arrival of Ferrari’s 458 Italia for 2010).
Anyways, good stuff.

THANKS FOR NOTICING THAT! I've corrected it for accuracy...

Anyone have the numbers on the F22 off the top of your head?

The syncros where not made of carbon fiber and not intended for weight savings. If I remember correctly, the carbon syncros where made for durability and feel. Someone please correct me if I am wrong...

Cool article and nice to see !! Good Job!
One fact is wrong though, the article states 1500 CR's were produced. That actual number is less than half that, 699 right?
