Not like a fartcan at all. I can smell gas sometimes when Im sitting at a light, but I like the smell. Reminds me of a real racecar.

No it is not true. It only smells like rotten eggs when a cat goes bad. Take the cat out and you only smell rich exhaust if you are running rich.

No, it's not bad at all. I get a little wiff of fuel when I first start the car. After that I don't smell anything. Every once in a while while sitting at a light when the wind is blowing towards the front of my car, I'll get another slight wiff of fuel. But it's nothing offensive.

I tend to notice the smells eminating from the exhaust pipes of vehicles, especially with the a/c on or the top down at a light. I can definately tell when someone is running without a catalytic converter and frankly I feel like getting out of the car and slapping them upside the head. You guys who remove your converters pollute the environment and stink up the road for a lousy couple of horsepower, which I can almost guarantee you can't even notice (except in your head, maybe). I say leave the converter on, or spend the cash to get a high flowing converter. Donning flame suit now.

You are right. An S2000 without a cat does stink more than one with. However, since it's already a fairly clean burning engine, the "pollution" is not as bad as most cars. Yeah, I know, that's no excuse.
Be careful who you get out of your car to try and slap up the side of the head. He may stick a gun in your face and help you with your next "facial".
As for noticing the difference, you may be right. People have been asking for dynos on this forever and so far, I've not seen anyone put one up.
We already have a high flow cat. There's no point in putting on a different one. People will do what they believe is their choice to do and in some states, as long as they can get away with it. Is this right? Probably not but then, have you ever driven over the speed limit? Have you ever tail-gated? Have you ever passed someone in a playground zone? Sometimes, it's easier to sit back and tell people to "save the world" than it is to actually go out and do it.

Do you actually believe that they put men on the moon? How about that "oil crisis"? You're probably going to tell us you actually believe all that stuff about the Ozone layer too, huh? Global warming? I'll bet you're one of these guys who think the world is ROUND!
Leave this world a better place than how I found it so my kids can enjoy it, too? Why? What the heck have my kids done for me?

the smell isn't bad at all.
very tolerable.

and for the record it's not because the car is running rich cuz i got my car tuned. the smell is the gasses that are normally collected/burned/eliminated by the cat.
