By the way, you need to hit the apex a little tighter on those corners!

Man I spoke too soon . This morning when I turned on the S. Baaaaam! Check Engine light.
I called berk and they suggested I reset my ecu? I dont think that is going to fix it or the CEL probably would have come on right away. I will get an anti-fouler after work today. Hope fully that will fix it.
xviper - I pulled the back up fuse under the dash, left it out for about 2 min. after I put the fuse back in the CEL stayed on. When resetting the ECU does the key have to be in the ignition (in the off position)? I did not have the key in the ignition while the backup fuse was out.

It amazes me that Berk would tell you to just reset the ECU to fix something that is a design flaw with their product.

Are you sure it was the "BACK UP" fuse. It only needs to be out for less than 1/2 a minute and the ignition should be OFF.

Emil St-Hilaire, I was looking for another way to do it because I did not want to lose my Radio if possible, my owners manual is at home and it has my radio code in it.
About Berk whatever. I ran to pep boys and picked up the anti-fouler, installed it real quick and ran back to work . (crosses fingers and hopes the CEL stays off!) I guess I got one of their test pipes that was flawed . My thinking is that once the CEL turns on it would probably come on again and I would rather fix the issue than to keep pretending its not there (resetting the ECU every 40-50 miles)
Thanks for responding xviper

I got the unresonated Berke test pipe, has cel fix built in it. Makes my single Apexi N1 setup scream in VTEC!!! But if you get this, be prepared to smell more fumes.

Ok I installed my berk TP last saturday (8 days ago). Since then I have driven 1200 miles and cycled almost 4 tanks of gas (took a 650 mile trip this weekend), and I have yet to get a CEL.. so the berk fix seems to have worked for my car.
edit: I've broken 2,000 miles with no CEL.

A Berk TP should arrive in the mail in a next few days. I am very anxious to hear how it sounds with my HKS. From the clips that I have heard...it will be very, very good.
I probably wouldn't have purchased the test pipe, but I deemed it a "necessary modification" to get the most out of the BRP SC kit.
