Biggest advantage to T1R over Berk is that it has mounting points for the OEM catalytic converter's heatshield. This allows you to disguise the TP and make it appear to be the stock Cat.

so the option to be able to bolt up the factory heat shield is basically the only difference between berk an t1r or is there a power difference on a stock motor with stock exhuast?

i guess i am leaning towards berks or t1r. I just dont want it to make the exhuast louder than the intake or in my case just having the top of airbox removed. I would prefer to hear the engine an not the exhuast

i'm interested in the CEL drawbacks of the testpipes, is there a thread/sticky on here somewhere that has info on it?

Another Invidia here, great piece for a great price IMO. As for the CEL, go to a parts store and get some spark plug anti-foulers (they come in packs of 2). Bore one out so the O2 sensor can fit in it, and screw them both into the test pipe followed by the O2 sensor. What this does is pull the O2 sensor out of the mainflow of the exhaust and "tricks" it into thinking that the catalyc converter is in its place doing its job.

When the O2 sensor in the cat gets to hot it throws a CEL. Berks O2 bung is further back to prevent the CEL. There is a "anti-fouler" trick which you can find on the board and it works great. The T1R with the trick is on my car with stock exhaust and sounds amazing. Best mod I've done.

*Or you can just do like the post before mine says, as it wasn't up yet. There is a How-To with pics though.
