Default Test Drove 2 S2000's today

So today was the day I decided tp go out and test drive an 03 ap1 and an 07 ap2. Before I did went I actually test drove an 06 sti from a dealerthat had 130k but had a new engine with 40k put in. It had good pick up but there was something wrong I could already tell. Afterwards I went to try the ap1. Its been 2 years since I drove one and I have to say it felt great! It had about 50k on the clock with minor mods, wheels, sound, exhaust, intake. Over all nice car. The asking price however was way to much though... The dealer wanted 22.5k. I wasn't feeling the price at all... I left a bit disappointed about the price... Last was the 07 which had 23k on the clock. The test drive was more than spectacular! Had the top down and gave it a couple of pulls. I am completely sold on the 07! They're asking 23k but the guy I went on the test drive with said I can negotiate. I'm looking to get it at 20k otd. I know its a long shot but that's where I want to be at. I would be financing through a credit union so I will be avoiding having to stick with a high apr... Any suggestions?

I bought my 07 which had 16.4k miles for $21.4k.

$20k seems very fair for the AP2 your looking at. Still look around tho, there's always something better out there.

im pretty much sold on the car! its pretty hard to look around for another car knowing that this one might be the perfect one but youre right. its better to look to see whats out there before pulling the trigger.

The AP1 sounds outrageously overpriced.

if I had a credit history mine would of been lower ive got a solid number but not much history so it dinged me

most credit unions have higher requirements to obtain the loan ie 650+ credit score but if you can do it with out a co signer its usually lowish interest

with a co signer iirc its gonna be around 9%
