Try Norm Reeves in Cerritos. They are a huge Honda dealer.
The place I bought my car from let you test drive it before you buy it. It was Canyon Honda in Anaheim Hills. It might be a far drive for you though, depending on where you live in LA.

I scanned all the ads for a used S2000 to test drive, I figure this way I could have fun and I would not be jeopardizing somebody else's car.
The local Mercedes dealer had an S2000 with 4,000 miles on it, and what a test-drive that was!

I'be been seeing a lot of posts regarding dealers who do not allow test drives. This baffles me. How do they expect someone to buy the car without driving it first????? It's kinda like buying a TV without being able to see the picture until you pay for it. Just doesn't make any sense.

I'm running into the same problem here. One dealer wanted me to work out a deal, put a deposit down and THEN test drive it! A little backwards I'd say. Another dealer outright refused to let me test drive one.

I own an S2000 because of a test drive. I've been drooling over them since I first read about them in 99. Local dealer had one on the lot which I wanted to "show" to my wife. She insisted that we stop and get out and look. Sales woman came out, asked if I wanted to drive it. What could I say? "No?" I don't think so...

I know some Honda dealers like to have '00 or '01 on the lot just so people can test drive. But I would have to agree with the group that most dealers won't let you test drive a '02. But when you think about it, it is good for the future owners of the car...You know you are her first

Yeah, I think the best way is to test drive one from a Honda used car lot, It's easier to and you get to try it on a well broken in engine and redline without any worry.

May I suggest you rent one from Budget (LAX location rents Vets,Porsche etc...)it will run about $160.00 for the day plus .54 cents a mile(after 100 miles)I know it's alot of cash but what better way to really see if you like the car after driving it for the entire day.Plus when your talking about spending over 32,0000 for something the $160.00 really is not that bad.
