I'm talking to an AHM case specialist today regarding TSB 054(decel buzz). I'm gonna mention the tail light and see what they say. Any last minute advice you guys think might get me a new tail?

Thanks

My thoughts are to not raise it as a cosmetic issue but as a safety issue. AHM may be more receptive to a safety concern.

BTW, when is this illuminated . . . during braking? when running/headlights are illuminated?

Its running light and doesn't get brighter with braking. I think I will play up the safety aspect. Its the only light on side at the rear and a fruity pink light isn't gonna catch someone's eye like red.

Mine is doing the same thing. I've also seen it on at least one other S2000 in town.

I park 2 spaces over from another S at my work. His S is a MY 2000, and mine is a 2003. Compared to my rear side lenses (which are a nice deep red), his are a light pink. His stop lamp lenses do not appear to have discolored at all, just the red reflectors on the sides... I certainly hope this is not in my future
