I think that's all you do unless you got ground wires too...

I have read and was convinced that grounding wires dont do anything. So I did not waste my money on them. So then thats it, all I do is connect it to the battery and mount it?

Did you read up on the Apex'i ground and how they got 8hp on a slight modded STI? I'm not sure I believe it but it's something to look and read about.

if its a poorly grounded system then you may see HP gains (ie the RX7 from what I hear) but i doubt, as wella sothers on the board, doubt it adds any substatial power to the S. just looks pretty uner the hood I suppose

Probably but I hear it helps out on grounding noise as well, those with multiple amps know what I'm talking about. At least it helps out on something, just don't go over board and pick up a ground system that's over priced...

I pulled my clutch over the last week and one of the things you have to disconnect id the engine grounding cable. Let me assure you it is well grounded. Adding a bunch of fancy wires with Mugen printed on them won't do squat.

I know its well grounded, thats one of the reasons why I did not get the grounding wires. I was just curious to is the install of the voltage stablizer really this easy?

Just mount it properly to the terminals of the battery and stick the actual stablizer somewhere safe, and you are all set. Hope you enjoy it!!

I did the install which was very easy. I did not really notice my headlights and other lights being brighter like some people have reported but my gas pedal feel was a little different and it revs sooner/smoother in nuteral. For example when you hit the throttle in neutral it takes a second for it to rev now it only takes a split second. I also notice that it picks up just a hair quicker in low RPMs when you give it a generous amount of throttle. I would imagine that this would help more on cars with aftermarket steros. But just so everyone knows I think it works and I did notice a difference (just for the record it was nothing spectacular but I still noticed it).
