I just installed one ... initial impressions are good ... Very stable idle speed and the car does seem to run better throughout low and midranges....I don't have a dyno to test gains...

But hey, I got mine for $80 U.S. .... I'm happy with the results... all my electronics seem to work better too....Lights are brighter, windows and soft top roll up smother, etc etc.....

I give it a

How 'bout this: it may not be better, but it's no worse, either.

Of course, you could try substituting a cigar box filled tissue paper -- that wouldn't be worse, either, and it'd be lighter. Maybe go to Fabric Barn and get a sequin kit, and stud it with some "bling" -- now that'd be even better.

Ooh, I have an idea for the OP: mount it on the fender. The outside of the fender.

Have fun. Good thing y'all are born to modify cars.
Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the rock.

Wow, I feel stupid just reading through this garbage.

This debate has gone on with every single car I have owned. Some people say that the grounding kits are great and other say they don't do anything.
I'm sure they smooth the idle or make electronics work better or whatever.
If you don't want to spend $200 on this crap then don't buy it, but don't tell someone that it does nothing.
The grounding kits do what the name hints. They ground and this causes the electronics to work better.

In my opinion newer cars are gounded pretty good and the kits are more for the "wow, their are a bunch of cool looking wires running around the engine compartment" look.

This is just too funny. Your whole world got better because of this thing.

If you knew a little about electronics and what a voltage stabilizer does, you'd realize what you just posted is pretty funny.
