Default t1r testpipe question...need help

hey i am almost getting my t1r exhaust put on soon and wondering if neone knows if the test pipe makes the engine light go on? i heard from friends that it does...does neone know how to resolve this problem or does it actually make the check engine light go on? if neone knows plz help me with some tips thx really appreciate it thank u...

Yes it does/will after a few cycles. There are no tips, live with it, pull the back up fuse or get an 02 simulator.

also when the engine light goes on does it go into safe mode? basically making the car have less power with the testpipe on?

No it doesn't go into safe mode.
