I am very interested. I am selling my 70r Single right now (already sold) and planned on getting a Sparrow in March when they arrive. Well, I have the money of course....

Just depends on:

Tip Design (don't want limp dick's like J's)
Material ~ Price
ETA

Im highly interested. I can't gaurentee because of the reasons listed above, but good odds of swaying me...

My votes:

1) Stainless Steel. How big of a difference does it make? 30 lbs savings between the two material at most? I don't want to pay probably at least $500 more to save 30lbs.
2) Torched tips FOR SURE. I love the looks of the 63mm Sparrow, but how about angleing them out (a little out and up like DUTs old Spugen, but dual)? Or even Toda style - NOT J's.

** Nobody makes a 70mm dual, right?
My predictions:
A 63mm single makes maybe 6-8hp. A 70mm single makes 13-15hp.
A 63mm dual (Sparrow) makes 4-5hp. So, follow that pattern, and the 70mm dual MIGHT make 8-10hp.
Hmmmmmm so Im not doing this for the power, since if that's all I cared about, I wold have kept the 70r single. I like to be rare, but this is a tough deal...

Hmmm louder and more money for a few more hp... *THINKING*

The material will be full titanium. I don't have a ballpark price yet. I'm sure I'll see something the begining of the week from AJ Racing. I have a speculation of my own on price, but don't want to say anything till I hear from them.

I understand your point about the price between stainless and titanium, but also understand that you will be one of 30 owners of this exhaust. That's it....30! So since this will be an exclusive exhaust, I would think we would want this to be made out of an exclusive material. I'm tellin ya, if we can make this happen, others will be upset at themselves for not taking advantage of this opportunity.

BTW - we also have interest coming in from other sites as well. The list at the top, is only from S2KI members.

THIS JUST IN

T1R has informed AJ Racing that the best way to build this will be 70mm for the primary pipe and then 63mm into each canister. This will provide the best gains for us doing bigger mods like FI. I'll keep posting info as it comes in.

Price and moreso performance pending, I'd definately be interested. Get us a good dyno shot and some video under different driving conditions, so we know what we'll sound like. Also, make sure that 1x70mm to 2x63mm section flows well!!!

So, this would mean that the canister itself will be for 63mm piping, vice 70mm piping, and therefore smaller, correct? If so I like the thought of that. Bigger canisters/tips look pretty ricey.
