BTW...for those who have an MY06 S2000, Honda made some changes to the exhaust design and MY05 and prior exhaust systems will require modifications to fit.

Hold up--what happened to this exhaust being made out of titanium?
the titanium that ajr will be realeasing is the 70rt single and the 70 sparrow will be stainless dual according the info from ben

the 70 sparrow is a very high flow exhaust and i think it will work on na setup. i think gains will be less than 70r single. for FI engines, i think the gains will be smiliar to the 70r.

Salty Dog stated numerous times throughout this thread that the dual exhaust would be made out of titanium. If that isn't the case, I might just go ahead and buy the Amuse.

I was told that titanium would be an option of building it. It's ultimately their design. Some reason or another, stainless was what they wanted. I didn't build it....I just gauged interest.

There is a major difference between this and the Amuse dual. The T1R 70 Sparrow is a header back, no resonator with 70mm primary pipe and 63 split. The Amuse is a cat back, with a resonator and a 90 degree cap pipe, 60mm primary and 50mm split. The only advantage the Amuse has is lighter weight.

I've done a ton of research on exhausts over the past two months. As far as duals go on an S2000, this is the one to get to produce the gains. And we all know that duals don't perform on this car. So aside from the T1R 70 dual, the rest of the duals available are for show and sound. And if show and sound is what you want....look no further than Mugen. If you want show, sound, and performance from your dual.....then the T1R is your only choice. There is no wrong choice here. You just have to decide what you want.

Are you saying that this exhaust will eliminate the factory CAT?

Sure will. No need for a test pipe.

Ok...I am cool with that. I assume that this exhaust piping would have some sort of "bung" for the Secondary 02 sensor.

mmmm. . . . i was sold on this thing until they said it was header back thats probably a reason why the r1000 (besides being louder) isnt as popular as the r1 (amuse) for us kids that have to deal with smog laws. its much easier to bolt up a test pipe and cat than it is to replace the entire exhaust for smog testing.
