Today, I met up with a new friend of mine. We exchanged cars on the way to lunch.
He drove my S2000 and I drove his new WRX wagon. Nice car for its price. Makes me realize how VISCERAL the S2000 is. In the WRX, you can be on the highway in 4th, and the torque from the turbo can get you moving without much drama...
in the S2000, you know when its gets moving because of how the engine note changes
He had a grin on his face and the quote of "If I had a third stall in my garage, I'd have one of these".
What is interesting is that I never realized I was driving the station wagon. The car just doesn't feel like one. Of course, watching the S2000 drive made me think just how cool it really looks... Dunno who says its styling is bland...
All I could think to myself was how nice looking the S2000 is.

The S2000 is indeed a beautiful car. Its performance, while exceptional, is only part of the reason I wanted this car. The last car I fell in love with was my Porsche 928; it was a rather brief affair that only lasted about 30 months. I hope the marriage to this baby lasts as long as I do!
