Thanks. That looks pretty good. That is more or less what I had in mind.

I went to my local Honda dealer today. The parts department said that they couldn't identify the individual part. They are of the opinion that it is only available as part of a kit. I think I'll take the picture in to them.

Thanks.

I think you and "bomberman" must be up to the same thing. He has a thread asking more or less the same thing so I told him to come here to look at the pic.

Here are three pics of the switch I ordered last summer from Majestic Honda.

At the time I wasn't sure what I'd use it for, but I'd like to put my gate opener/garage door opener behind one (find a 3 position momentary switch and mount it to the blank plate?), and probably driving lights behind another (change the icon on the defroster switch?).

The parts were:
35461-S2A-003ZA LID, SWITCH NH16 $4.71
35500-S2A-003ZA SWITCH, RR. NH16 $29.91
83403-S2A-023ZA PANEL NH167L $6.60

I think I may have picked them from the MY00 or MY01 catalogs, rather than the MY02 (which I was buying it for).

Thanks!
Don't you know you're supposed to hook your garage door opener to your high beams ??

Modifry

Sorry, I didn't know. Thanks for the link. I just glanced at it. I'll read it later.

Thanks for the info.

It was your mod that made me want to permanently mount the door openers, but I have two (one for a gate, one for the garage door). The receivers are far enough apart that I could probably trigger both at once, but I think I'd always be worried I had opened the garage door as I was leaving.
