What about the other way around? Ap1 transmission in an ap2?

It might make the ap2 quicker in the quarter since it would not have to shift to 5th right at the timers.
For a turbo ap2, it would be highly recommended so the car could stay in boost longer.
Kinda weird...the ap2 tranny is probably preferable on the ap1 and vis versa.

I have this mod and it's a nice upgrade, especially for the price you're getting it for installed. It's very worth it. Are you considering an upgrade to your clutch and flywheel? I would think it would be a good time to do so if you're planning to.

I'd love to be able to do the swap myself. I'd actually like to try out the AP2 tranny with my 4.77's but I'm sure I'd get the "YOU'RE OUT OF YOUR MIND!!!" comments
I drive mostly city. I like being able to accelerate between lights and I like being able to have the power on tap without having the engine completely screaming through the downtown core with everyone looking at me. So is the S the right car for me? Some might say no, but I still say yes

I'd really like the idea of longer 5 & 6 gear. I wonder how this would work with 4.57 on mine? I like my set up, except I don't really feel comfortable doing highway cruise at such high rpm.

I'm keeping my AP1 differential for now, but I have an AP2 pumpkin. Just need to buy the 4.44
I have had the setup in my car for a few years and it is well worth the money, the fuel economy is enough reason for the swap.
