I think it really depends on your personal preference. I've owned a silver BMW and liked that color. It is consistent and looks nice on any car, I think. It may not be the most exciting color but at my age, it is appropriate. Good luck!

I picked up a used MY04 Suzuka earlier this year. Not only was the color questionable to me at first, but, it also had the blue soft top. I really did feel that it was too much blue, but, I bought the car because it was an S2000, not for the color. I have to say that I absolutely love the color and the blue top. It gets better every time I see it, and I get compliments on the color all the time. The compliments really suprised me at first.
You wont regret blue, but, silver is also a nice choice.
