Default Suzuka Blue touch up paint

Has anyone actually gotten their hands on this stuff? I have had it on order for a while at HandA, today they told me that it would be June 30 before it came in! I called several dealers in my area, no one had it either... I have a chip at the front edge of my hood already, I don't want the aluminum to rust

I too have a Suzuka Blue '02. About a month ago a lady backed into me at the bank and had to replace the bumper. Well they tried to match the paint at a friend's body shop and couldn't match it. So they called the local Honda dealer to match it and they did a worse job than he did. So they called the factory in Japan and found out, supposably, I have the first suzuka blue to need to be repainted and asked them to Fed Ex them the gas door to match it there. They have now had the gas door for bout two weeks now. It is taking forever. They told me that from now on when they look up the mix for suzuka blue on an s2000 at any body shop it will be the same mix that is on my car, so I hope all of your Suzuka Blues are close to the shade of mine or you will have to go through the same thing I am going through.........no s2000 and plenty of sun

I just called and ordered some from my local parts department. They charged me $9.20, but I don't care. I just want to have the paint. After shippingm the HandA is probably at least $6.00.
They said it will take a week to get there, not too bad.

I hope you get it in a week, then I can order too. I also hope that isn't a stock answer, because most things they can get in a week, they just don't know how hard it is to get this touch-up paint.

I asked this before, but does anyone really, actually have any Suzuka Blue touch-up paint from Honda in their possession?

I don't have the touch up paint either and tried ordering it from the dealership, only to be told that they didn't have it in stock but would order it for me and that I should expect it by the end of March. Haven't heard from them yet. Ordered it from HandA and have the same expected delivery date (6/30). My guess is Honda either hasn't manufactured it or hasn't distributed it to the US yet. I have a few chips too and am getting more just about every time I drive - I'll have a big project on my hands once the touch up paint finally arrives!! I wouldn't worry about the rusting - I waxed over the spots and haven't seen rust yet, but my guess is it would be very superficial and can be sanded off.
