Thanks everyone for the advice, I ended up getting the car and drove it back from ny to pa without any issues. Seems like it was just a garage queen. What a beast of a car!!

 

Congratulations! I actually bought mine in PA and drove it back to NY

 

Bought mine with 22k 2003 ap1 ($14.4k). It even had 3 previous owners. I had the same concern, my brother even tried to interrogate the dealer about the mileage lol.

Look for clues as to the car's mileage. For example, check to see if there are any chassis lube stickers on the frame by the gas-tank opener. I found a sticker there stating a lube service for 21.5k miles 2 years ago in a rich person area, which eased my mind.

Also like the above guy said, just look at the interior and see if there is any significant wear on the steering wheel, knobs, shifter, etc. Check the "secret compartment" for clues.

All in all, my car has had almost no problems in 8 months.

 

Get it inspected. Don't rely on the Carfax alone.
