Exclamation surprised no vendor has made bumper caps for AP2

Reading some single exhaust threads last night and noticed that there is some aprehension for Ap2 owners putting on a single due to the rear bumper.

Cut-out of the Ap2 bumper is more distinct then the AP1 bumper.

Why hasn't a vendor created an exhaust cap for an AP2?I would think this would at least be easy to do for a black s2k, maybe a CF colored cap if painting was an issue.

I would think this is an easiar solution then switching to an Ap1 bumper.

I just figured it was cause the cutout for the exhaust is pretty seriously moulded into the bumper. Suppose you're right though, anything to blank it off would at least help clean up the look.

I would love to see somebody make something for the ap2s. Single ehaust would look so much better with one of the holes capped.

i want a single exhaust for my ap2 so bad!!!!
but, i hate the fact that i would have a gaping hole, so i ended up buying the sparrow instead of the 70r v3

Yep duals are not the way to go for power compared to singles. I wonder if you could custom fabricate one if no vendor has tried.

I'm not sure how you're going to blend in the exhaust hole flare. I would think if you want to go for the power, you'd also invest in a light weight rear bumper, i.e. ASM.

Design one Silver...I'm sure some vendor would make it if you could give them a design that works well and looks good.

I think it'll look ugly with the curvature of the AP2 bumper already.

Yeah, it's hard to make a cap that would look good with the flare. Maybe attach a fake exhaust tip?

I just purchased the ASM 60 mm single and am now planning to buy the ASM bumper, as well. My AP2 would look too silly if I didn't!
