The sole purpose of the video and his "review" is to generate views/clicks.
A video on why the S2k is so bad will probably generate more interest than another video out of thousands on youtube on why the s2000 is so great

This guy is a pretty lame "automotive" youtuber/personality. He's kinda Doug Demuro-esque in his overall norminess and lack of in depth knowledge. Doug isn't my style either but he plays up his quirkiness and norminess to play his character. This dude seems to try to be kinda cool but is actually quirky. Overall, his automotive style seems more geared towards supercar posturing than motorsports.
He does seem to run a good business so good for him. If I were around supercars all the time, I probably wouldn't have a lot of enthusiasm to drive an s2000 on the freeway either. I think I'd still want to learn to drive well and it would probably fall into my climbing up the ladder of track cars at some point.

Agreed - I wouldn't get too worked up about his review. He's more about posting clickbait type of content such as "my X was stolen!", or "my Y broke down!". He's definitely figured out the YT algorithm and has no shame exploiting it, IMO.

Plenty of motorists and auto enthusiasts who own supercars also enjoy vehicles like the S2000.
This review - if you can even call it that - was flawed.
Who test drives an S2000 on a long road trip with a passenger? LOL
What's next? This Ford F150 sucks because it didn't handle well around a race track?
It's obviously just click bait YouTube content... He was annoying to listen to and I wouldn't take anything he mentions seriously... good for him for getting people watching though - he's just in it for the clicks...

The extensive engineering and materials behind supercars to create a unique driving experience are what makes those special. If this guy was actually a connoisseur of supercars and was a purveyor of driving, an objective S2000 review should have been different.
The S2000 is not a supercar and shouldn't be compared to one. But the driving dynamics of the S are so unique and enjoyable from a pure driver's perspective that this aspect alone could certainly warrant a comparison in that regard. It's a good thing he isn't interested in buying the S2000. These cars should be saved for enthusiasts who enjoy technical driving and not for posers like this guy.

Watched the whole thing......because.....would rather form my own opinion. Guy and co-pilot are obviously a couple of A-holes. Someone should have explained how a standard transmission works, then he may have geared down on occasion, like OP pointed out. Not surprised he complained about seats and armrests. Just someone who is all about pretense, and doesn't get what the car is all about. Could have gotten the co-pilot's opinion, if she would have put her phone down for a minute. Can't argue with success though! On to the next enlightening review!
