My 2003 s2000 should be arriving soon. I want to supercharge it. I am torn between the comptech s/c and the vortech s/c. I am looking for advice. What can owners or any mechanics who have worked with any of these units tell me ,thanks .

It's too bad the "search" function is acting up. When it works, you should do a search. There is sooooo much info on this.
There is tremendous brand loyalty between the two camps. The Comptech is a far simpler installation but costs more and has no intercooler (yet). The Vortech (which I have sitting in a box still) is a bit cheaper but the installation is a lot more extensive. The Vortech has had some "teething pains" (so did Comptech at the beginning) but hopefully, has all those sorted out now. It is a better made kit whereas the Comptech "had" issues with cracking brackets. The Vortech is "aftercooled" but the Comptech will be too in the spring (even more money). Both are upgradeable with smaller S/C pulleys to produce more boost.
