Default Summer time heat soak

I just bought my my2000 about 2-3 months ago and the weather has gradually gotten warmer since then... no more cool nights in the 60's either. It's been in the lower 90's and fairly humid here lately.
All cars of course lose some HP as the weather gets hotter. Just wondering though, is it only the temperature of the air ingested by the engine that causes a loss in HP, or are there other factors when it's so hot? And anyone have any idea how much HP a stock S2000 loses when it's say... 95 degrees versus 70 degrees? It seems to be fairly significant.

Get a Hondata IMG and a cold air intake. I don't get any heatsoak at all anymore - even in near 100 degree weather.
