Suggestions on getting car into garage
My driveway was recently repaved and now my s2000 can go into my driveway without any scrapes on the underbody but when I try to enter into the garage, my front lip scrapes too much and stops me from proceeding as it might just tear off if I apply more gas. I know the contractor guys should of fixed this or at least have someone watch what they were doing but I was at work so no way I can do that plus I didn't anticipate this problem.
I went to home depot last nite wondering if I can buy 2 wooden boards and line them up so I can use as a ramp to get into my garage but the guys there said no wooden board can withstand the weight of a car. Now frankly the car is going to be running over the boards about 2-3 seconds really quick and the clearance from the ground will be just a few inches barely giving me enough room without too much damage to the car.
Is there any type of plastic or wooden piece I can use that will allow me to avoid any massive scraping? I will post pics later to give a better look.

I have the same problem with two of my other garages. I can only park the S in one of them. My neighbor who used to have an S had to remove his aftermarket springs and lip to be able to park in his house.
I don't think there is much you can do except remove the lip .
Sad thing is even though the M3 is lower, it can still park in any of my garages without scraping because of it's very short nose.

Back in? Go in at a bit of an angle?
As for a board holding the weight of an S2000, it totally depends on the length of the board and the angle you're trying to use it at. It shouldn't be a big problem.

my civic was about a soda can from the ground. i had to back it up everytime, but if that doesn't work and u don't want to give up the lips which i wouldn't want to either, i would get some 2x4's which is strong enough to make it over i think...

Yes guys I'm just thinkin of getting some short wooden boards which are diesel enough to withstand for 3-5 seconds just so i can clear it. I know the longer the board, the center will be weak once the weight transfers onto it and snap.
