Default Suggestion for steering wheel "S" badge

Installed my yellow on black "S" badges yesterday. I got the front and rear and all 4 wheels done. Quality of the badges is excellent and they look awesome. I took the car out for a little spin after the installation and I was asked at two stoplights - "Hey what car is that??". One guy thought is was a Maserati !

Anyways, now that I have the badges along with Rick's yellow console cover and shift boot, the two things I would REALLY like to see would be:

1. A yellow on black "S" badge for the steering wheel

2. Yellow leather door panels to replace the black perforated leather on the door.

I realize that the second option might be impractical but does Rick have any plans of making a steering wheel "S" badge. That would make the anonymity of the car complete!

Also does anybody have any pictures of the yellow trim steering wheel Rick offers?? I am really considering getting this but just wanted to see some pics before I decide.

Thanks

Do you have any pics? My yellow on silver came in yesterday also and will install them this weekend. I want to see pics of the yellow on black for the front and the back as well as the sides.

Thanks

Katzkin did these door inserts and I have been pretty happy with the result.

rick did work on the steering wheel badge but thought that there could be liability related to the airbag and the badge (my understanding)...
i agree that the badges are awesome and i would really like to replace the steering wheel badge as it is the only clue that people who pull up next to me have as to the car.
i enjoy the "what kind of car is that?" question... begins lots of (brief) conversations.
rick, is the steering wheel badge idea dead?

Moneed-

Here are some pic's of the wheel and the yellow leather in my Stook. I've posted several threads with more pic's and I believe Rick has to. If you need to see more just do a search I'm sure you'll find several other threads.

Enjoy!

Hey Mack - thanks for those pics - looks really nice

Is the steering wheel installation something that you can do yourself or do you need to take the car into a shop??

Jerry - how much do the Katzkin door inserts cost - also is it possible to have these shipped and installed here or do they only do this in their own shop??

Thanks

OFF TOPIC: Email Katzkin for a quote. Its a special order, but they already template for the job. They can do most any color you desire. $$$ though, but not insane. They'll probably try to sell you on a local installer, and that is the way to go.

ON TOPIC: I'd really like Black/White badges for the car.

Rick, does the email address work on your website? I've sent a few mails asking if you can provide product to finish my project, but I haven't received any response. I understand White is something of a special order, but I would rather give my business to someone supporting our cars.

Jerry,

I'm petty sure I answered you, but write again (that is my email address, and it works).
Townsend is very reluctant about white leather; they say it never looks "right".
If you insist, I can ask them to make you a hide ($$$, you have to buy the whole thing).
They will only make custom colors by the hide, like our S2000 matching colors!

White/black badges are not an option unless you and 20-30
of your close friends are willing to commit to them (purchase before production).
We can only order in certain quantities.

Regards,
James Mullins
