Default suggestion for car cover bending antennae (sp?)

I can never spell that word... I keep my S under a car cover during the week, and it always bends the ant. down, especially if it's been rained on. I can rebend it back to semi-straight. But otherwise it's curved back and looks like I'm driving really fast Anyone found something that works well to keep is straight? I tried a toilet paper roll, but after a few days, is still pushed it over. Thanks in advance!

unscrew it, then store it in your car.

I didn't realize it was so easy to take on and off. I'll give that a try. Thanks, guys.

Do you have an aftermarket cover or the Honda S2000 cover. The Honda one has an extension on it for the antenna just like the one for the side view mirrors on most car covers. This seems to keep my antenna from bending granted I have only had the car for 7 weeks so we will see.

Take it off, I stored mine in the winter, half way through the winter I noticed the antenna was bent, took it off, put it in the car, come spring it was straight again.

exactly. I just take it off and if i feel that i'm in a bad neighborhood i take it off and store it in my trunk or something. You can't go wrong with this method.

I don't have the OEM cover, so it doesn't have that antennae condom thingy... So I'll just start taking it off..
Remember when detachable faceplate first came out? There was that Pioneer commercial, where the guy is stopped like at airport security, and they're wondering what the faceplate is? I'm going to carry my antennae with me in my pocket like that...
