Thumbs up suggested spring rates for coilovers

I'm thinking of getting a set of zeal function xs coilovers, but I don't know what spring rate would be good for me. I want my suspension to definitely be stiffer than it is right now, to be able to take hard turns and have the car firmly planted. However, someone suggested 10k all around. That just seems a little overkill for street driving.

I am wondering what do other fellow s2k owners ride on and what spring rate you are using for front and rear. I also wanted to ask is it typical to have the front be a higher rate than the rear due to the heavier weight? Any input would be greatly appreciated!

track? for street use the stock s2k suspension already allows you to corner hard and planted.

OEM setup has the rear stiffer, actually. Front to rear weight ratio is 50/50.

I've ridden in and autocrossed a friend's car that had Teins with 10k springs all around - harsh but not too much, and awesome handling. The shock tuning has a signicant role to play.

The new set up of zeals would be mostly used on street. Anyone know the stock spring rates?

I like the idea of having the ability to turn hard when I want to. Canyons, is really the main reason I want a more aggressive set up. I am just worried 10k all around would make me a bobble head on the fwy. Does anyone use a variation of spring rates? A friend suggested 8 /10 but I don't know if that's front to rear or vice versa. One more thing does anyone know if people normally run stiffer front or rear?

Thanks again for all the input guys

A lot depends on the shock too, Megan Street coilovers for example use 10k all around and people say they are pretty comfortable.

I had 380F/400R on the Integra and it was perfect. The car weighs the same as the S afik. I haven't changed the S yet.
