such a nice day....
I have never yet driven my S2000 to school because I dont want anything bad to happen to her, but it seems like such a nice day out. I want to should I risk it or go home and get the beater before class...

I have the same dilemma all the time. I have a beater that I drive to work & back, but I hate leaving the S2000 at home on really nice days. However, I prefer to not have to worry about anyone banging it up in the parking garage. I work at a high-tech company, so you'd think people here would have respect for other people's property, but it's surprising how false that is.
I'd say, leave the S at home until you get out of class. You'll be able to concentrate on your class work much better if you know that your car is tucked away safe & sound in the garage.

No kidding.. I drive 60 miles to work, and put a lot of miles on the S at first. Then I found out that I could expense a rental car to my company during this long-term project, so I drive my schitty Nissan Sentra during the week.. But days like today make me wish I was driving the S. But if I were you, I'd drive it to class. I know, some people are idiots and might bang into it, but I've enjoyed my S more since I stopeed freaking out SO MUCH.. I still freak out a little about it, but I've gotten to the point where I enjoy it whenever I want, while still trying to take good care of it.

Worst case scenerio is someone could egg your car, key it, smack their door into yours, back their car into yours, etc.
For a long time I was afraid to drive my S anywhere because I was afraid of having my car vandalized, intentionally or not. But now that I've been treating my S as "just a car" I've had a lot more fun with it.
I still park at the very far end of the parking lot though.

Thanks for the advice, its not that I'm trying to be all up-tight about it or baby it but i dunno, something about parking with that many people of that age kind of worries me, i hate to be steriotypical but i feel that younger people seem to be more care-free and disrespectful towards othe rpeopls property
