Hi everyone,
I recently purchased my S, it is 2000 a grand prix white with only 12k miles on it. The only thing is that when I downshift or just decel with no throttle, the car makes a slight rattle. I'm not sure if this is just a characteristic of the car or a problem. I took it to my friend's shop and they said they couldn't find anything, but the noise is still there. Has anyone else experienced this, or does anyone have an idea of what it might be???

If so, you might get the car repaired under warranty ( not sure if it's still under warranty or not ) or they might fix it as a "good will consideration".

It's most likely the header heat shield. Push to bend it slightly towards the engine that should stop it!

get the buzzing clutch tsb done, i think its tsb 54. just take it in to the dealership and they'll know exactly what it is. they change the clutch disk and the noise will go away(but sometimes might slightly come back later on).
