Hey man, if you are riding around with the top up, and smelling smells not related to your car, you might want to change your diet. (couldn't resist )

I have noticed that too, I hear & smell all that the road has to offer.

don't know how it will be related, but i had that kind of problem too, mine was from the stock intake. But then by the time i realized the noise, i recalled that i left my intake cover at home after i opened it.

You will be surprised how loud is the humming noise with intake cover off.
