storing s2k on jack stands all winter?
What do you guys think about storing an s2k on jack stands all winter? Do you think the weight of the car sitting on the jack points on the car will eventually wreck the car (like start to cave or sink in the jack points on the car)
Has any on stored their car like this before?

As long as you use the correct jackstand points you will be fine..it's not going to cave in or anything like that. With that said, I try to drive my car during the winter unless it snows and there's salt all over the roads. Then I just make sure to move the car slightly (as in backwards/forward a few inches) every couple of weeks to prevent the tires from flat-spotting. Never had a problem..

i also read that if you keep the car jacked all winter, the suspension will wear b/c it's extended for a long period of time and could wear other components. Did you guys hear this as well?

I've heard that it's better to store the car on the tires than jacked up. Fill the tires to maximum pressure, and have them on a plastic sheet to prevent dry rot from concrete.

Winter storage is really not long enough to worry about optimal storage techniques. For the last 12 years I have stored my car during the winter (November - March). I have never had an issue with flat spots on my tires. As for keeping the car jacked up; I had my Z jacked up for 8 years. If a car was going to cave in it would have been an older Z. You have nothing to worry about as long as you use proper jack points.
There are tons of threads on how to store your S during the winter. You can read up on this for hours.
