Default Are stook engines hand ported and polished like integra R engine?

just wondering wat the gains are on this mod, dont know if you guys know but i used to own an R and that engine has the sweetest sound of all honda engines here in the us , my 2cts of course, at vtec it has that instant boom sound. On my way to my third stook, and wanted to know the gains on this mod if any?

I suppose if that was the case, it would have been noted in the S2000 literature just like it was for the ITR.

The porting job is very slight in the ITR. It essentially removes any flash or idiosyncracies in the casting to make the hardware appear as it does in the CAD files.

Is the F20C hand assembled?

According to the guy who is working on UL's head porting project (and UL please correct me if I have this wrong) the F20C head has about the best finish work of any stock factory head he has seen. It apparently is hand finished at the factory.

Per Ultimate Lurker: "...the bowl and seat seem to be untouched after the plunge cut and the seat angles (although the factory uses a 4 angle seat). There are, however, touch up grinds in the ports, and each one is a bit different. Doesn't look like CNC work to me, so I'm guessing its hand done." From this thread here.

Also note this link in the thread. Makes for interesting reading.

I've seen two heads off and they sure looked like handwork to me. It did not look consistent with cnc machining.
