Stolen Seats Poll
Currently have a Sparco Evo for autocross in the driver's position. Was planning on doing a little more daily driving this year and thinking about swapping the seat back to stock.
But....
Was thinking about this the other day. Has ANYONE every had a mismatched set of seats vandalized (in the S2000)?
Maybe I'll just leave the mismatched seats. Who's going to steal and try to pawn just a passenger S2000 seat?

^ well i think that given the chance, anyone who would steal any seat would steal either oem, or aftermarket, or both.
i would say that a proxy alarm with the loudest horn you can get is the best solution, if you think that you are in danger.
that, or do what i do and put little disclamers in the windows saying that the car is armed with tear gas, and that if the car is tampered with in any way, the gas will be released...

I had both OEM seats stolen, top slashed, etc.
When I'm going to get Kodokan's locks when I do get new seats; a guy in the PNW forum had his S broken into (he had Spacros) but they couldn't get them out and left. In addition I'm going to get a VERY sensitive alarm with a motion sensor inside, tilt sensor, 120db alarm horn, and strobes mounted under the seats that will go off with the alarm installed to make sure that ripping off my car is a painful and difficult experience at the very least.
I am also going to put a laminated note on each window noting that the car is wired to all hell and the seats are cheap eBay specials that will be worthless on the market so that they'll be a bit more deterred. All this will sit under a car cover to try to make suret that they don't even know what it is in the first place.
