Too bad it's not a month or two later, you could have got the nicer 06 seats and at least made it worth your while...

I haven't owned my S2000 very long to know how far back S2000 seats started getting stolen but it seems to me that lately someone let the cat out of the bag one too many times.
There was a lot of S2000 seat theft when I bought my S in April of '02.

The only reason there are Seat Locks now, is because I was so worried about my own seats getting stolen. The only way I could get them made was to order a quantity, so I offered them to other owners.

S2000 seat theft has been happening in the US since the release of the car, but I would agree that there are more frequent posts about it lately. I can't imagine how many S2000 seats are stolen that we don't read about!!

Where do you get the seatlocks, and how much?
Do they come with a "warning"sticker?
If not,where do I get a pair(stickers,that is.)???

Any place that prints vinyl could print some small stickers to put on the window glass if you give them a design.. exterior stickers will wear out and eventually come off.. so maybe one printed backwards to apply to the inside of the window instead..

I believe this is the sticker you are referring to:

The Seat Lock Stickers are available to those who purchase the Seat Locks.

I'll PM you the Seat Lock info.

All I can say is this really sucks!!! sorry you got nailed.
makes me sick to my stomach just thinking about this happening to my S

Best investment for these kind of things is an alarm with added tilt, & proximity sensors, hood and trunk pin switches and lastly a two way paging remote..... about a $1,000 installed.

always get out of bed and check on the car every time it goes off!

also, if you can, pay the extra bucks for the lowest deductible offered...
from a fast, friendly, reputable insurance company.

this is the route I went with
so far I've been real fortunate, knock on wood.
