Stolen Seats
I came out of my condo this morning to go to work and found a hole cut in my top on the drivers side, the door adjar, and both seats GONE!!
Obviously I called the police and filed a report....
I just feel so violated and now I am out of pocket for my deductable and stuck in a rental beater for about 3 weeks. (the ins company stated that it's going to take some time to clear the paperwork)
It just SUCKS!!
p.s. they were nice enough to leave the bolts for the seats...

I would like to get the seat locks, but when a thief finds your seats have been locked, wouldnt he just slash your seats out of spite? We arent exactly dealing with normal people here. These guys are deviant assholes.

You have to figure that at least they didn't get the seats. You would be out of seats reguardless. You also would have somthing to sit on still.
Knock on wood, I pray that never happens to my baby...

Sorry to hear, I got mine stolen about a month ago and everything is still not done.. without a crappy rental car. My anger has yet to subside. I'm thinking about paying people $5 for each Civic license plate that has S2000 seats in it. Then I would handle the rest.

1. I'm already out the $500 deductible just by the a-hole slashing the top.
2. I'd be out seats anyway whether I had seat-locks or not.
3. If I had seat-locks (which I do) at least the thief would be out seats too.
4. Every second he remains in the car is more of a chance to get caught.
5. Slashed seats mean a drivable car.
The big thing for me is #3 and #5. It's best if there is *NO* upside for the thief.

I'm thinking about the GPS alarm form Python...thing is $$$ but it will page you anywhere...no range, uses cell service I believe. Wouldn't that be nice? just sneak up on the focker while he's in your car and bash away with your Louisville Slugger?
