mine was green. that looks like k&N. is there a steel mesh? or is it all paper?

The photo actually is not that clear. It does look a bit pink.

The stock air filter is made of white colored paper and if you look inside the filter you will see a metal shaped cone / cylinder with round holes. I hope that helps you a bit.

Agree, that's a K&N. My stock one was greenish.

They start blueish, and turn greenish, and then brownish, and then blackish, and then they set themselves on fire. Kidding aside, when mine was Brand new It was blue.
