Anyone know what brand of head unit is in the 04? I've looked everywhere--can't seem to find it. Just curious. Thanks

Head unit is actually not bad - just installed XMSR - awesome sound - unbelievable bass and clarity. Highly recommend it - but antenna has to be painted to match the car!!!! Comes silverstone gray - period!!

Its too bad that the XM antenna only comes in silver. I have XM in my other car and I love it, but I wouldn't want to get XM on the s2000 if that is the only color choice. I guess I could get it painted if I wanted, but that seems like a hassle--and I'm lazy

 

Does the head unit in the MY04/05s play MP3s? Is it a digital radio where the station can send out text to the unit?

 

The XM antenna can be mounted in the secret compartment. Still gets plenty of signal through the rear window...

Hmmm... wish I had known that - but had enough trouble with the dealer - the first one they have installed!
