Default Stock Exhaust + Test pipe

Searched with no luck. Any gains vs Catback?
Oh yeah and hows it sound?
Any info would be great.

I had my test pipe on with the stock exhaust for a month or so before my J's exhaust came in. There was a noticable difference in the sound, not too much louder, but a different tone, as is with any cat vs. catless system. Definately better tho. Smoothed out the VTEC transition a bit also. As far as power diffences go, the gains are waaaay to low to be noticable. I just like the sound diffences w/o a cat. They should leave those POS'es off of cars anyway, or at least off sports cars.

some people have to worry about emissions, plus no one likes to drive behind a stink-mobile.

I had a test pipe too with the stock system before my J's N1 arrived

Better throttle response.
