Hope your problem gets worked out with Jeff.

At this point, I will reserve any comments or judgements but one thing clear is that you should've contacted Jeff directly @ Ganley Honda before posting it online trying to discredit Jeff.

I've never understood where folks can be soooo very pleased at one moment and at another, pulicly shame a vendor for a mistake or issue. Geez, get over it already and work it out directly. No money was stolen. So relax and always, ALWAYS give the benefit of the doubt. Other folks have lives too.

As for Hardtopguy, what an awesome vendor. Many thanks for everything you do to help this S2000 community.

As for discrediting the man, I was simply stating the facts. I didn't stretch the truth and if anything left out details that caused a major uproar and involved a bit of dishonesty.
When I leave mssgs on someones voicemail at his work I expect a call back especially when I had a couple g's of stuff already purchased and almost costing me a weeks wait without the car as the parts that were "Supposed to be painted as I was told" Had not even been started. How can I attest this. I was unhappy about his lack of concern for me as a customer. The parts that supposedly being painted was shipped to me as I had decided not to risk having my girl drive hours to put on the bumpers when I believed they weren't even painted. He delivered them to me without paint on them. Hmmmmmmm
As for the size of the shipment and wait time. I have had SOOOOO many things shipped from the US and the only thing that took two weeks was my rims for my Jag. And that was with major delays from customs. Everything else about 7-10 days. It has been 3 weeks since he brought me my incomplete order. Even after speaking with him that same day reminding him.
I know everyone loves him and yes he does have great prices, but that is not the issue. I had problems and I am letting you all know, flame me, discredit me. I really don't care. If people can praise someone in a post then please don't tell me not to post my situation.
Again: Props for prices
Props for him driving the stuff to me
for service.
The conclusion, if I specifically ask a vendor if he has everything in stock and he tells me yes then I expect him to have it. When he forgets two of the bumper plugs AND the grill I get If he says the parts are at the body shop being painted then I expect them to be there getting painted. When he tells me that he ordered me rims and refuses to give me a tracking or billing number and I call the dealer and am told that no one has purchased ANY set of Sparcos that week. So he wasn't on the straight and narrow in regards to the rims as he said he could order them for me and save me money if he ordered them through Honda. He quoted me 75% more than they sell the damn rims/tires for. So what do you think about that. Anyone have anything else to say?

Yeah - STFU!

Since when can anyone order Sparco items through Honda - I'm a Honda Dealer, and I consider Jeff and Joe to be friends - I don't sell against them because I value the friendship over the business.

I think you need to work things out through other means - like I mentioned earlier - talk to Joe (SanMarinoCpe) - you can send him a PM.

If you continue to publicly dispute things, then I think you're going to find yourself in a bad spot on these boards with all the Hard Top Guy supporters around! <----this is not a threat, just a word of precaution

Hes mainly stating his situation, I dont see why everybody is flaming him. If I had a bad experience with a certain company or sponsor than I would surely voice it out to the public rather than keeping it on the hush.

Thank you to the ones that allowed me to share my experience. Some of you guys really make me laugh. I don't care what people on the board think, I find more than half the members to be cultish! Since you don't want me sharing my negative experiences with you I don't want to see people posting positive things either. I thought the board was to share experiences with others, that is what I did!
As for the honda dealer guy would posted about the Sparcos, Jeff claimed that he could save me money by using a resale number or something of that nature. So shhhhhhh, because he did agree to order them. He did charge me more than I was quoted when I called. The order was never placed, so he blatantly lied. I don't care if you love him. I don't spend much time on these boards so no bother if yall don't like me.
Let's look at corporate america, just because a guy spends 9 years being a good stockbroker doesn't mean that he can't on his tenth year he can't be bad. It's the people that flame others for voicing their opinions that make the board one sided and sometimes not fun to be on.
To be clear to all of you I will recap the story exactly as it happened and then I dare somone to say that I shouldn't be a critic. I ordered the parts and specifically asked if they were in stock as our car was being shipped from California to Port Huron, MI (5 hours away from Jeff). My girlfriend was to pick up the car and drive by herself to HTG's dealership. He assured me that the parts were at another location and would be there withing a couple days. I asked him if he could save me money on the rims that I wanted from discount tire. He said yes, and his quote was around 75$ more than I was quoted when I called to check the retail on them. (Great deal huh)
The car took 14 days to arrive in port huron and I found out that HTG hadn't ordered the rims and outright lied about it. The body parts were supposed to be painted (He had 2 weeks notice) so my girlfriend could drive to Ohio and have them installed within a couple of hours. Thank god I found out the rims were not even ordered or the bumpers were not even started. Imagine, a 5 hour drive followed by a couple night stay in a hotel while the parts were being painted.
I asked him outright if he ordered the rims, he said yes. When I asked for a tracking number he refused to give it to me. Then I got suspicious and that is when I called discount tire and spoke with a guy named Zack. No order was made and no sparcos were even purchased within the time frame involved. I ended up ordering the rims myself and had them shipped to a dealer in port huron. I told Jeff I wasn't going to have the parts installed or painted by him and he offered to drive them up to me. 200$ and around 50$ for gas.
When I looked over the parts when he handed everything to me I noticed the bumper plugs, 04 grill were not in the "basket" I also asked about the 315$ side strakes I bought. He says he had them in another colour and that I could have them painted or he would ship the suzuka ones to me the next day along with the bumper plugs. The ended up using wire mesh for a grill and it looks great.
It's now going on three weeks. I've called his work ample times, had my girlfriend call. Nothing! So as you can see I have posted positive things about this situation before posting this. I never even mentioned the negatives. Now I am because I want my side strakes that I paid for and I want the bumper plugs that I can't even order in canada because it is a US colour.
So again for this particular particular incident at this particular time. Commend him for all the positives, but keep the mouth shut for the negatives. Wow, it's good the other board members are so supportive. Make a guy feel like crap because he tried to share a situation.
