Default Step by step for installing springs.

Anyone know a site that goes step by step on how to install a set of lowering springs?

Pretty easy to do. Just installed Tanabe GF210's on my S. Took about three hours. I'd suggest looking ant the Helms manual and disregard the step of removing the ball joint. Instead disconnect the upper A arms and the shock will slip right out with some maneuvering. Once it is out there is no need for spring compressors just put your foot on the spring and and remove the perch bolt. Install in reverse order. Rear shocks do not require that the A arms be removed.

When I installed my Tanabes, I used the directions for coilovers in the S2KI library.
Click Library, then modifications, and then chassis & suspension. There you will find a coilover install. Of course, I only installed springs, but this was what I used to install my springs.

And what hondafan said is true, you do not need to remove the A arms in the rear.

question for you guys,

do the rears have to be pre-loaded like the fronts. since the rear strut assembly slid right out, i didn't know how to actually "pre-load" it (unline the front.....by jacking up before tighten the 17mm bolts for the a-arm) i ask b/c my rear seems slightly high. i previously thought i had the springs backwards but have since confirmed that they were correct. now its either i didn't pre load them or thats just the way they sit. btw, i have eibach's. if any of you have eibachs i would love to see a close up lic of the rear....preferably with the stock rims.

thanks ahead of time if anyone can be of assistance.
