Default Steering Wheel Falling Apart?

I went for a run with a Mazda group to Flagstaff Arizona with 4 other S2ks and my steering wheel always felt dirty, but cleaning it never helped. Then after 6 hours behind the wheel I looked at my hands because they felt sticky and they were COVERED in black sh*t. Felt dirty, sticky and nasty. I looked closely and it looks like the leather is falling apart, but you can hardly see it, it

What have you been cleaning it with in the past? Did you destroy the leather cleaning it previously?

I think CKit is right. You've been using something that should never come in contact with leather.

i think if you send it in to ricks2k he does custom leather work. this could be your excuse to getting your wheel reupholstered in matching leather

check his site.

S2KPUDDYDAD -- i LOVE that VGS wheel. isn't VGS the name of the traction control system in the newer models? what region's S2000 does that wheel come stock on?
