Hi:
This happened to me. I got a 4 wheel alignment done, and the the steering wheel was off center. It drove me nuts. I took it back, and they tried to fix it twice, then replaced the tie rods under warrantee. Then they tried to bill me again for another alignment. In the end, the steering wheel was dead on, but the alignment sucked. I switched dealers.
Hope this helps.

Now that I look at the numbers from yesterday's check, I see that the right front wheel is negative toe .02, and the left is positive .02. While .02 degrees is pretty small, would that not have both wheels pointing to the right?
Called the shop a few minutes ago, and they'll look at it again on Monday. I'm thinking they just didn't level the wheel perfectly when they aligned everything. Adjust the toe on each wheel equally and it should be fine. Seems simple enough. I used to mess with the toe on my Miata and could easily get it centered, so not sure why they are bucking me on this. They've done good work for me in the past, so not giving up hope just yet.

went back today, and took a drive with the guy doing the alignment. He didn't disagree and redid the toe. It's now at zero toe on the front, and as close to centered as they could get it. Maybe it's off a tiny bit, but the car still goes straight and the wheel seems just about straight. I'm done dealing with it.
On the plus side, did some twisties that I'm very familiar with and the car is much more predictable/stable. Previously couldn't break 60 around one of the turns, and was about 62 and comfortable. So if you haven't had yours checked, it's worth the time to get it dialed in. Back end feels much more planted at speed and less anxious to step out, and turn in left and right is very smooth.

i'm guessing it's not possible to DIY? mine has ~650 miles on it but the wheel has always been a few mm to the right. on left-to-right crowned roads, this leads to the wheel being just about center, but when the road is the other way, i have to overcompensate to the point where it is obnoxiously off.
should the dealer fix this under warranty? my car is a full 3 weeks old.

my wheel went out of center when the car was fairly new... took it to the dealer and they fixed it in just a few minutes.
dont know whether they used a puller or adjusted the tie rods-
car still handled the same as far as i could tell.
they got it back to right on... so it can be done
