yea pretty much any car can be stolen.

i met this one dude back in like 2002 he had pretty new corvette and someone stole it from his driveway he got caught within 48 hours i think he was locked up for a day and next day he got out and got a fake id and got the car back from policy impound and drove all the way across the states. i saw the car after owner got it back and didn't have a single scratch on the car. it was a real pro job like he had a spare key or something.

just make sure you do these two things:

1) protect your 'ish
2) make sure your 'ish is insured

kodokan seat locks would be good too. i can vouch for that

You gotta wonder how they come up with these lists. How could a car that only sells 5000-7000 units a year be anywhere near the top? And is the list for break-ins or for actual full car theft. You'd think the imobilizer would stop all but professional thiefs.

I own 2 of the top 6!

Avvy and S2000 most stolen FTW!

You pretty much answered your own question. If you're going to have to park the car outside you'll want to buy: a hardtop, seat locks, wheel locks, etc.

Like people have said before, theives could always tow your car if they are desperate.

Alarm, seat locks, etc could help to make them change their mind and move on to another car ...

Alarm is only as good as the install. Hide the brain and wires properly, and also install the immobilizer that comes with the alarm. The aftermarket immobilizer could also help because it would take a thief some time to find out where it is ... since it's not at a standard place like the ECU is.

My alarm isnt to keep people out of my car. Its there to wake me up. THIS is my anti-theft device. =)
