Default Start Button Not Working

Ok, so the other day, early in the morning, I went to start my S and as I pushed the start button, I got no response. I sat there trying it for a few minutes and finally it started right up. I don't know if this had anything to do with the fact it was cold (40 deg) ? Or could it be some other issue?

Also, none of my dash controls are working for some reason, its the stock HU.

Anything I need to check for?

Thanks in advance.

Bad battery or loose/corroded connection, also check your fuses.

Do you know which fuses in particular I should be looking at?

Check number 24, the main battery fuse. The diagram posted is for a CR, refer to your owners manual for specific fuse info.
