I'm glad you've finally learnt something.
I'm sorry Vishnus11, but that's a classic.

I personally like the start button. It's fun, though not practical.

The dash is designed to *resemble* an F1 instrument cluster. I like the Smith's gauges that came in the old British roadsters.

I do find that the stock tach is effective. Unlike a dash top or hood mount tach, it is out of my line of sight, but the way it changes color and flashes means that I see what it's doing in my peripheral vision. I never actually look at the tach while autocrossing. Of course with the Modifry shift beeper, the stock tack is like a fifth wheel now.

I like the dash just the way it is. I have liked the 'Start' since before I got the car and still do.

I agree with all of your points. I am surprised not a single one of these items have changed since the year 2000.

Send it back! You don't need it or understand it...

st_rage, have you used the sun visor yet? I found the stereo mode button mildly anoying, but very livable (aka not work posting in a forum), but the visor is almost useless, unless you count the mirror.

I figured if the sun was out the top was down, and the sun visor wouldn't do anything anyway. I bought a hat.

You'll see, one day, you'll be driving home an hour before dark, and your precious hat will blow away. Then you'll put the visor down and see how useless it really is.
