Perhaps I am missing something. the mute button should be on/off in IMHO, it doesnt' take that long for a cd to spool up and it starts where I left it, further the radio on/off is pretty much instant ergo the mute should be on/off. I keep forgetting to turn off the radio when I turn off the car if I have hit mute, then get back in and it looks like some sort of TV commercial
The mode button... who really jumps between AM, FM, FM, CD all that often????? pick some other function for it.
Volume paddle... knob, paddle wgas its nbd.

I can't believe that these are things to complain about. I've only had my S2k for a couple weeks now, but I love having everything within easy reach. I bought the car for what it is, a race car. I hope there are as many people writing Honda thank you notes for producing such a beautifully engineered machine as there are people complaining about a start button that really does serve a purpose.
My one and only complaint, and I'd hardly call it a that, is that the e-brake has to be pulled to put the top up and down. I hate having to pull over on the Interstate to put the top up.

The S2000 is NOT a race car. It's a sports car sure, but a race car? come on now people... it has AC.. a radio.. airbags.. LEATHER.. ugh.
As for the ebrake thing, there's a fix for that.

Nah, I'm just kidding - I'm just trying to point out that because lots of other people are fine with something, there's no reason for them to bash somebody else for not liking it. I personally don't have any issue with the ebrake for example, but don't have any issue with you not liking it, you know?
I personally think the stereo in the S2000 is quite deserving of some criticism, for what it's worth. Spend some time in the electronics forum of s2ki and you'll find plenty of other people who think so as well.

I dunno about you but the radio is just fine in my 2003...
Besides I hate having a loud-ass bling bling huge bass audio system with the top down. I already feel bad when I'm at a red light with the top down and the music full blast, I tend to lower the volume in these cases lol
