Thanks guys. We never know what those simple evenings and memories are going to end up meaning. Enjoy it to the fullest. At one point, she was singing along to John Mayer looking at the stars and said, "I'll never forget this night as long as I live." That only turned out to be about 40 hours, but it still meant the world to her at the time. It means the world to me now, always will!

Midnight summer drives with the top down are some of my favorite things to do. Especially out in Vegas. The warm, dry, summer air is very relaxing- I'll drive and try to get lost sometimes, explore roads that I don't normally go down- things like that. The sun is BLAZING during summer to be cruising with the top down during the day.

 

Just picked up my s2000 this week. Yesterday was the first time I drove with the top down at night. I don't think you can get any better of a driving experience than cruising down a dark country road with the top down listening to the engine wind out...it's almost a spiritual experience.

 

Love the feeling of rolling with the top down during a summer socal night. Nothing beats it.. well the only thing that does is when i want to throw on the hardtop haha. It's bittersweet.

 

Took my mom out cruising with the top down one nught so she could look at the full moon. Sine im so busy with work and the wife, my mom always reminds me how much she enjoyed bonding and hanging out that night. I tell myself we will do it again someday. And full moons come and go. But always so busy is my excuse. The story with your friend Shannon, may she rest in peace, has inspired me to make that time. Top down.....just us, the S, and the stars.
