Default SRS light

My srs light came on today for some reason... I have the manual airbag shutoff switch installed for over 4 months and no SRS light.. but all of a sudden it came on today. Any idea on how to reset it or what to do to make it go away?

There is a reset procedure described in the Helms Manual. But if you don't know why the SRS light came on, how do you know there isn't a real problem?

Yea i already checked da fuse and i went into dealership today to get the light cleared for me.. and they wanted 50 bux b/c they wanted to do a diagnostics first!!! I told them i knew what was wrong with it and fat SOB stil wanted 50 bux to run diagnostics!! omga someone plz show me to clear it myself or where i can take it to get it cleared besides HONDA!! HONDA customer service SUX!!!

By the way my douche friend jumped into my car that day b/c i wasn't there and left my top down and he landed in my seats so i'm thinking that triggered the SRS light

Honda bought back my 01' for this reason....they just simply could not fix it over a course of 11 months and 6 attempts.....very bad experience with dealers needless to say. Be insistent on a fix not just a reset. If the light is on, your airbags WILL NOT work. This happens routinely on my buddy's now out of warranty Acura CL.

Funny thing though....I still want another S and am thinking about an 05'....crazy eh?
